We are honored to share that a state-of-the-art Skill Development Training Centre was inaugurated at Tura, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya on 19th November 2021 by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Conrad K. Sangma ji.
The inauguration ceremony marked a significant step toward empowering the youth of Meghalaya with job-oriented vocational training. The Chief Minister highlighted the critical role of skill development in enhancing employability, boosting local economy, and reducing youth migration.
This centre, established under the DDU-GKY and Meghalaya State Skill Development programs, is equipped with modern training infrastructure and aims to provide quality skill training and placement opportunities to rural youth across the region.
